The Alliance Française French Film Festival offers a comprehensive national programme over five weeks showcasing a selection of the finest French film releases. The festival is the main French cultural event in New Zealand, and has an appeal that reaches far beyond the local French community.

For the first time in the festival’s history, the festival will be managed from the Alliance Française headquarters in Wellington and promoted by the large Alliance Française network around New Zealand. The Alliance is a non-profit organization committed to promoting French language and culture worldwide.

From 29 February – 4 April 2012 a fabulous selection of French films will be gracing New Zealand screens; so get ready to have a good laugh, shed a few tears, and experience a great deal of action and surprise!
