“A carefully crafted character comedy, some hilarious slapstick and a cute love story or two.” Hollywood Reporter

Synopsis

Max has been a caterer for 30 years. When planning a fairytale wedding in a 17th-century castle with the most disorganised group of waiters, cooks, photographers and wedding singers, a series of hilarious near catastrophes puts the planned wedding at risk.
From the wedding preparations early in the morning to the end of the party at dawn the next day, various personalities and stories unfold, all centred around grumpy Max who manages to tie everyone together around the one quality that they all share: le sens de la fête, they all know how to have a good time.

The directors duo behind French hit The Intouchables (2010) are back with a fast-paced, highly original comedy set during the chaotic preparations of a chateau-set wedding. Written for and with the legendary Jean-Pierre Bacri, the character of Max guides the viewer through an ensemble film where even the smallest side character contributes to the rich narrative.
The high-speed succession of gags is perfectly timed with witty dialogues, convincing performances and a cleverly written story of solidarity and friendship. This entertaining feature is the guarantee of a highly enjoyable, buzzy and funny comedy experience.
